Jo Ann Landers is the Director of Admissions & Marketing at Huntington Hills Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation.  She started her healthcare career in 1980 by opening the first Suffolk County office to what is now one of the largest national home health care agencies, Gentiva. 

After 10 years in the home care industry, Ms. Landers launched her own business by developing a comprehensive ancillary network and marketed those services to unions, self-insured groups and third party administrators. When managed care dominated the market place, she decided to conclude her self-employment and took a position with the largest managed care company on Long Island, MagnaCare. During her tenure she developed and implemented an ancillary network that included providers on Long Island, in all five boroughs and upstate New York.

Believing she had accomplished her goal in developing a comprehensive ancillary network, Ms. Landers decided to bring her talents to the Assisted Living and Long Term Care industry. Traveling as far east as Southampton and as far west as the Bronx, she has effectively worked for both profit and non-for-profit organizations planning and implementing successful fund raisers, organizing community events and overseeing projects that successfully increased both revenue and census. In addition, Ms. Landers has acted as project manager for several corporate initiatives. She has a knack for linking people and staying connected to the needs of community.

In addition to her role as Chair of the Board of Directors for Long Island Family Care Giver Coalition, she serves as a Spiritual Care Companion and has volunteered her time as a Buddy through LIACC and Little Flower Children Services.  Ms. Landers continues to support her mother, who is the primary care giver to her 85 year old father suffering from Parkinson’s Disease, by providing respite care, managing the community Medicaid process as well as guiding both parents through the healthcare system to ensure that they have the services in place to keep her father at home as long as possible. 

Michael has appeared on the television program “Legal Straight Talk” and the radio program “Physical Therapy…Physical Health” to speak about elder law issues. Michael is member of the Legal Advisory Board of the Alzheimer’s Disease Resource Center (ADRC).  He frequently lectures to other attorneys, accountants and community groups, which include continuing legal education seminars for the New York State Bar Association and Nassau County Academy of Law.  He has taught adult education courses in elder law throughout Nassau County. He is also a contributor to the Elder and Special Needs Law Journal, published by the New York State Bar Association.

Christopher M Tombline is a New York State Licensed Funeral Director since 1992. His experiences in the funeral industry even before then  through present time has covered all religious, races and creeds for any request by any family in need.

Since his employment at Gutterman Funeral Home in 2002, he has been the Executive Manager concentrating in being available for the urgent needs of all Jewish families he serves to move as fast as they need to in order to conform for immediate interment as per Jewish law.

Chris specializes in creating Pre-Plan trust accounts for those who choose to pre-arrange to start or compliment their own estate plan or wills. Whether one needs to spend down resources to apply for Medicaid or look to create a Revocable Trust Christopher has made sure he has available all the resources to refer highly qualified professionals such as Elder Care / Estate Planning Attorneys, Geriatric Care Managers, Home Health Aides, Life or Long Term Care Insurance Agents, Nursing Home, Assisted Living Facility, or Hospice Placement Services and Residential Move Managers are some just to name a few.
